why no Roadside Assistance for 2006 model?

    Well, it's definitely not because it was costing them extra money to have a call center open for Prius owners. They still offer free towing to all extended service plan customers:

    Actually, I amend that last post. It could be because of the higher than expected sales of the Prius they have exceeded some sort of call quota that they weren't filling before.

    Come on gang...

    We can buy one heck of a roadside assistance plan for the approximately $3000 tax credit we will get in 2006. Buy a 2005 just because we do not get roadside assistance? I dont think so.

    you may already know this.. but keep in mind.. you won't realize that 3 grand until 2007 when you get your taxes back based on the 2006 year. :(

    Unless you decrease your witholding in 2006 so that you recapture it all right away, then just don't owe any on your 2007 return.

    If you decrease your witholding to 0 you could pay no taxes at all in 2006 until you have recaptured the credit up front, then return your witholding to normal.

    order in may, recieve it on June23rd.
    my does have roadside assisstance for 3 year.
