Why not just call it a foot long touch screen?

    Being generic doesn't look forward. Size will likely continue to grow.

    12.2" is the size for the upcoming 2020 Highlander.

    Aspect ratio makes a difference with Android Auto... yet another thing those hoping for retro-active updates don't realize. That extra bit of space adds convenience for the auto-centric design... something the phone advocates should take note of.

    Ah come on social media says the most important aspect of a car is the touch screen see attached image of 2022 Prius.

    Yeah I've seen that one before, it's a pre-production something or other?

    This phenomena is the latest "tail fins". Along with the magic smoke entry and exit ports you see on most car "bumpers" these days.

    The main beef I have with these displays is the stupid-distraction factor: they can get you killed.

    They are still using physical buttons for the windows. I'm afraid that's a dealbreaker. /s

    In EV mode your current city power consumption is like 144wthr/mile but with the new touchscreen it jumps to 300wthr/mile.

    Well worth it.
