I can think of 3 reasons why you shouldn't drive your Prius at night:

    1. The dashboard reflection on the windshield is annoying (until you turn down the brightness).

    2. It's gets annoying bugs splattered on it's beautiful exterior.

    3. Most important: People can't see how cool it looks as much as during the day.

You can also put a piece of black felt (with double-stick tape) along the edge of the opening in the dash closest to the driver. Just make the opening a little smaller. I have a dashboard cover so I used a thin piece of wood painted black.

Now you have only 2 reasons. :)

But there are reasons to drive at night especially:

    1 The HID headlights
2 There is usually less wind and so better mpg
3 Better mpg from less or no AC load.
    4 Generally less traffic
5 No need to read street signs with a nav system.

I don't have the headlights but I agree with all the rest, especially the NAV....bing-bing!
