Will 86110-47230 work instead of 86110-47081 in 2005 Base Model?

    The mic does have a preamp, but you could harvest it from the 2009 (get the overhead console), wires are going to be a problem unless you splice or pull the harness out of the roof.
    I had a 2004 base, but gone now.

    I have no access to that car anymore, about 500km east of me now.

    Hoping the wrecker here still has a later prius 06-09 on the lot.
    Maybe it has a console, if it's still there, saw it last August.
    Will call them tomorrow, see if I can get a pic and maybe do some shopping:eek:)

    I just bought a 2005 Prius and am looking to upgrade the MFD to the gen5 hi-res version. This priuschat has been very helpful in finding the right information. As far as re-pinning the M13 connector I was wondering what happens to the 16 Red wire PKB Brake SW. It doesn't show up in the M13 connector for the hi-res. Thank you for anyone who responds.
