Will changing the Head Unit remove reverse camera gridlines?

I'm thinking of changing the head unit on my Gen III Prius to a Pioneer AVH-4201NEX
What I'm wondering is what generates the guidelines that turn with the wheel... is it the camera or the head unit itself?
Will I lose that when I change?

    Thanks!

The head units control the guidelines. You can adjust them in the head unit settings.

The lines are generated by the parking assist ECU; on the cars that have them, the camera signal goes to the ECU instead of the headunit, the lines are added, and the combined signal goes to the headunit over a GVIF cable.

As long as your new headunit has a GVIF input, it all might still work.
