sat in the vinyl....oops leather seats and they are quite grippy. Lots of friction while sliding in and out. My maxima is nice and slippery. Does that grippy ness go away or wear away a little?

    Thanks!

I was going to make a smart arsed remark about you not wearing socks and now not even wearing a seatbelt.

    I guess I should have.

I hate it when it's not nice and slippery.

I had leather in my '08. I really like the seat material in the AT model. Not real leather but not vinyl either. I really, really like it. The initial new/sticky is all gone and I think as comfortable as leather. They did their R&D well.

I haven't noticed any grip e niss with the SofTex, and I bought my car in early November 2012. I really like the material. Combined with the heated seats, it's a comfy ride. Certainly a major upgrade from the cloth, 4-way adjustable, non-heated seats in my 2006 Gen II Prius (which I still love). Enjoy the seats!

+1... thinking bout sheepskin seat covers as I'm not sure how the softex will wear over the years. Also enjoy the feel of the sheepskin. we'll see...
