    The Aqua just got a new "Crossover" (read: black cladding, restyled nose, and I think slightly taller suspension) option, which is standard for the 2018 Prius c in the US.

    Cargurus price trends has an interesting chart, that to me, indicates that 2015 Prius v styling was not well received by buyers on it's model refresh- Interestingly, the 2016 Prius showed a positive upwards trend on new car average sale transaction prices, whereas the 2015 Prius v showed a negative trend. I take that to mean that the dealers had to discount the Prius v more and perhaps it was harder to talk the consumer into buying the top tier package trim levels, where the bigger profits were.
    We can hope that Toyota bring it back in 2019, with improvements that will excite the consumer.
    I was thinking how Honda didn't kill off it's slow selling Ridgeline PU, but just skipped a year and brought out new model= time will tell if they made a mistake or not.

    I am pretty sure, if the 2018 Prius C was the only Prius with Apple CarPlay, they would see a big jump in sales!

    That doesn't mean I want to spend that much per month ;). No doubt it's a lovely car (I've driven the 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation RX on test drives and loved them all for the ride. The 2nd gen RX had a really soft suspension and slow steering though but supremely comfortable and had buttery soft leather seats. The Gen 3 was nicer but I didn't care for the exterior design. The 4th Gen that I tested had a stiffer suspension [It was an F Sport package model] and a nice transmission but steering feel was still towards the luxury side. It felt like a smaller vehicle through the slalom. Ride is good even with the stiffer suspension and braking performance was good).

    One day, I'll have an RX but that day isn't any time soon. :)

    Hey, Lexus set the standard lol. I remember when I was younger, picking out a 1/16 scale LS400. I was so happy with that model car (I still have it sitting behind me on the shelf). I still have the brochure for the LS400. Man, they don't make brochures like that any more, even digitally. It was a good 30 or 35 pages describing the features of the vehicle and Lexus craftsmanship. The S-Class brochure from the same era was a hard cover!
