Folks, please wind the charge cord, don't leave it on the ground after charge.

I've seen snow plow broke the cord, pulled the plug out and damaged it. Just because someone did not wind the cord.

Are you talking about a public charge station, or on your driveway?

Winding up is quite unrealistic. In fact, for those of us who experience real winter (like Minnesota), that's impossible... since it becomes so stiff, it won't bend.

Instead, try looping the cord over the charger.

Both locations where I routinely use a public charger, that works really well for keeping the cord off the ground.

I think when he says wind up he really means protect it and take care of it. Anybody that somehow leaves an electrical cord outside, in the traffic lane in freezing weather is definitely a nutcase.
