    It's up to 30% as long as you get high-quality tint that adheres to standards. I would post a link but the forums won't let me. Just google California Car Window Tint laws.

    I have my front 30%. Cops here in Orange County don’t mind as much. I just roll down my windows quick when I creep up next to a cop car. I’ve seen beemers and Mercedes with darker tint than mine. They care more about stupid drivers around here.

    Just be careful around LA county when visiting here. Especially Burbank. They a bunch of diks.
