Window vent shades - comments ??

I love them, there is no effect on mileage. They really make a big difference when parked in the sun, the heat does not build up and there is good cross ventilation.

There are two types that fit the Prius, Mine were installed with 3M tape and I have had no problems. The other type slips inside the window channel and require some adjustment to the window controls.

FYI I have the 3M tape kind and have had no problems. My neighbor has the in-the-window-track type and they keep coming out and then when she opens the window the pressure blows them out and off her car. Be very careful which kind you use.

 

I have the german made ones that go in the window track. I love them and have had no issues. It was about $100 for them but well worth it. I don't like the tape ones, over time they give out. It just depends on your taste.

I added them to my prius last week not thinking went to the car wash same day I did them they stayed on
I'm impressed No problems

I had the tape kind on my last car for 3 years - no issues.
Now - if I could just find them for the Prius.
