Winter Storm Jonas - Big Snow - PREPARE!

    Been sort of biting my tongue on this issue.

    I live outside Seattle. Mostly, all I get is rain. Some 6-7 feet of it per year. Great for my Athlete's foot! :barefoot:

    But, every couple of years or so, we get some snow. Normally, what everyone calls a dusting and it melts pretty quickly, Wahoo, right.

    But, every third year or so, we get two or three feet in a few hours. That normally hangs around for about four days. Streets are not plowed around here. We don't have deicing chemicals. The thing is, we live with it, it goes away, it does not make international news....is the difference that we don't live in the cheek-to-jowl population centers of the East. I guess so///:)

    I am pretty good with putting on tire chains....but they don't help much in three feet of the stuff.
