    BINGO!!! It's so dark in that spot that I never noticed it yesterday when I was exploring. Awkward for the passenger to control, but at least visible from the driver's seat. Thanks muchly.

    Edit to add: If I move the switch there, that little LED will probably be very obvious shining out of a black hole. :)
