Now that I've had mine for 10 days, I'd like to amend my wish list.

The Prius v polycarbonate moonroof seems a better fit that the Prius Four solar powered roof because of weight. And it would seem a little more hi-tech if they did imprint clear solar cells within it.

Have the seat heaters come on, when selected on, using line (household) current, for 10 minutes at a time while charging. If a finish time is selected, the last 10 minutes.

The battery seems the perfect fit for me. Not sure I want to trade extra range for stale gas.

I was very surprised to have found that my 1999 Solara's Heat and AC controls were recycled into the PHEV Advanced model.

Especially when there is a novel one-knob system in the Prius V that seems MADE for an Advanced PHEV. (below)

An option to keep bluetooth connected for a few minutes on those rare occasions when I do need to stop for gas, or just generally during brief shutdowns like when stopping the hybrid system and then turning on accessory mode.

Yes, and it's a bit annoying; even when I'm driving at a leisurely pace, the slightest touch can cause the ICE to come on.

Although I'm sure this thread is an exercise in futility, I'll post my wish list, after having the car for 2 weeks:

    1. User-adjustable threshhold for when the ICE kicks in; even when going up the tiniest hill sometimes, the ICE will kick in, and then I have to wait for the warmup cycle before it'll turn off again.

    2. A hard button for GPS; I had it in my Gen II Prius and I miss it. It ought to be on the steering wheel.

    3. Charge port on the DRIVER'S SIDE like it was in the prototype; In two weeks, I've probably sat in the car at least 4 times, only to have to exit the car to unplug the charger. If the charge port were near the driver's door, I'd see it as I'm entering the car.

    4. More EV range.

    5. Put the CONSUMPTION readout where I can see it all the time; I don't see it at all on any of the odometer settings unless I switch to one display setting, and that's mildly annoying.

6 (perhaps it does this?) Headlight auto-off like the Gen II Prius.

For those of you waiting on your blue Prius PIP and wondering if you'll like the color, I have to say: I had a red Prius, which I loved, and didn't really know if I'd like the blue color--but I really love it more and more each time I walk up to my car.

At least they reinstated the wireless remote on 3 doors! What were they thinking when they dropped that from anything but the top line model?

    Wish list:
    Homelink in all models
Turn signals in the mirrors (who thought of putting the front turn signals as close to the bottom of the car as possible? That was a major visibility error).

There are four packages for Prius. For 2012, every one but the base TWO has a three door smart entry. FYI.

I haven't had this problem and I've gone up some rather steep hills. Did you try putting the PWR button on while in EV? Allows the EV mode to use more power.

Yep does this, just delayed off like my wife's Venza. Don't like running the 12V down like that though.

Ditto. It is distinctive. Pretty much spot it easily in the sea of silver and gray in our parking lot.

Seat heater is a great idea. It could be even better if it was based on the temp of the car. So, on a cold night in the garage, you get more morning warm seat. On a warm night in the garage, why bother?

I also agree with you on the battery. When battery performance/price ratio improves (over the upcoming years), then it might make sense for more battery. Right now, I think that Toyota engineered the battery size just about perfectly. This does not mean that it can be perfect for all drivers or even all situations for an individual driver.

I haven't but will give that a try; there are lots of hills in Nashville so it's a common occurrence. I assumed that the POWER button would mean that I'd not be using EV as often...
