start with a check of the 12v health, then have the codes read. they can do it at the same time.

    how many miles on her?

Check if any of the speeds sensors happen to have come out. I don't know if that can cause a loss of regenerative braking, but I believe it can cause those lights. Other thing I can think of is the brake booster, in which case, look into Customer Support Program ZJB

There are about two hundred reasons for those lights to come on, 2 / 200ths of which were mentioned by SB6 above.

That's why the recommendation to read the trouble codes will often save you a lot of time compared to guessing.

The codes can be read at the same time as a battery check, if the shop is careful not to do anything in checking the battery that would clear the codes.

Otherwise, you're left with an unsolved mystery for as long as it takes for the codes to come back, could be minutes, could be months.

So my back left abs sensor was broken and ziptied back together thats the reason for the abs light. Break pads were a little low rotors werent great either. They said they couldnt do anything about the abs sensor all they can do is fix the breaks and do an alignment. Im not sure uf fixing the brakes would acrually solve the problem or not though.

I don't think brake pad and rotor wear can cause all those lights and a loss of regenerative braking. Your issue is the abs sensor.

What's wrong with it? Is it still intact, or has it ripped off? If it's intact, it might just be dirty?

Again, without the codes, all we can do is throw out guesses.

Usually will be the sensors and that is why I said those codes although they are not specific they point to them and if the sensors go bad then there goes your regen of your hybrid which will lead to "check hybrid system".

Be cool if you can go back and get the codes just to see.
Unless he reset them and fixed the issue with the sensor.

Im taking it to another shop they said they couldnt fix the sensor for some reason. The sensor was cracked in half and someone before me had ziptied it to hold it in place

Oddly enough, you managed to pick two codes that will never, under any circumstances, mean the wheel speed sensors or any braking component.

C1259 and C1310 are both codes that are set in the brake ECU to acknowledge a message from the power-management ECU that there is a problem over there (related to the hybrid electronics). One of them means "yes, I heard that the power-management ECU is reporting a problem" and the other means "yes, I understand that stopping the car is all on me because power-management won't be stepping in with regen."

The wheel speed sensors are directly wired to the brake ECU. Any time there is a problem with those sensors, the brake ECU will set its own codes that mean that.

No codes and the warning lights are still on? You may need to use something that can access the ABS codes
