    Hello

My 2012 prius v won't start. Everything turns on (headlights, brakelights, dash, ac) except the engine and the speedometer is blank. In fact, all the indicator lights stay on all at once, emergency brake light, no seatbelt, etc, everything except the speedometer. When I try to shift into reverse or drive it shifts to neutral and the light flashes to return to park. I tested the batteries with a voltage reader and both read alive and well, so it's not the batteries by themselves. The battery indicator reads at two bars currently.

Anyone have any ideas? I though early on it might have something to do with the immobilizer because the keys were left in the car overnight but now i'm skeptical of that explanation.

Hi I also had encountered the same problem. May I know what might be the problem and what is the solution? Thank you.

After checking the 12v battery voltage (at least 11.8 v) I would read codes. There are many possibilities.

was this resolved? i have the same issue right now and could use the help before towing to the dealership. i replaced the 12V and the key fob battery. exact issue you've described here. all the lights are on but the engine won't start.

I like to recommend good independent shops but the outposts on the moon are all closed. Sometimes it takes several tries after a battery has been replaced, assuming the measured voltage is better than 11.75v and no other issues were preexisting.
