    As for the antenna, not much that can be done now but for future viewers a $15 soldering iron kit and some patience probably could have gotten in working again.

    I think this is the perfect story to go along with the SUA stories though. Computer failure means safety-blanking and it forced you into neutral shutting everything down. Just what all the electrical and computer engineers are saying.
