Currently helping a friend who has headlight issues on his 2010 Prius, and we have diagnosed the issue that he just needs a new set of headlamps. However, he needs them fast, and we were able to find a set of 2014 headlamp assemblies, but the seller isn't sure if it'd fit as I believe 2010-2011 are different then 2012-2013, headlamp assembly wise, correct? Or do I have this wrong and would any 2010-2015 fit? Couldn't find concrete information on this so just want to make sure.

Yes, all 2010-2015 are interchangeable as long as it’s liftback to liftback, not from a C or V.

I tried for instance those comparison tools on Amazon, AutoZone, and so on, but when I tried a headlight lamp from a 2012-2015 model onto a 2010 model (by changing the vehicle compatablity via the dropdown), it then says they no longer are compatible with the car. I just want to make sure as I do know that the 2012-2015 front bumpers have a redesign and wasn't sure if the headlights also have something different in terms of fit compared to a 2010-2011.
