Wow - fuel, we don't need no stinkin fuel!

Another update. Just got my -best- tank. 4.1 l/100 km! Mostly because I've been traveling back and forth on the old Island Highway, with speeds of 60 to 80 km/hr. Funny because I'm still one of the faster vehicles on the road.

Further, -something- has happened with the fuel system. I've always "topped up" with no problems (never so much that fuel can be seen in the filler tube). Usually this results in driving for 100 to 200 km before the first pip goes out on the guess gauge. On this trip I'm now seeing 250+km before the first pip goes out, even when driving on not so fuel efficient roads. It appears that I have a range of 900 km per tank (though I usually fill up by about 500 km).

Still finding it amazing!
