Wrong Type Oil in engine?

    Yes, I wonder what the Prius oil viscosity diagram would look like if the top temperature was 120 degrees F. It is not hard to encounter that temperature in the desert southwest US during the summer months.

    My unscientific opinion is that I'd be terrified that I'd spin a bearing with an oil thin in Florida. That's because I pin the throttle open for hours. I guess if u don't do that you'll be fine so long as it doesn't run low due to high consumption
