    I don't know the latest behind the secularity in France, but last time I checked public displays of religion were banned... most felt by Muslim women. (the following is somewhat like playing devil's advocate... because I agree with France's secularity ruling) What is the meaning of freedom when someone isn't allowed to follow their faith? If they want to wear a hijab, why should they be stopped?

    Unless some rocket or missile hits a third party or something, there is not going to be a WWIII from this conflict. Emotions will run high, but for the moment I don't see the conflict escalating beyond the region. Seems like this Christian Revelation mania fiction is spreading, and concurrently the Da Jaal antichrist equivalent in Islamic talltales.
