Trouble PMing me? Hey guys I really do exist , but, I was really confused when I started reading this thread.

    Springtime

(I chose that name because I had originally anticipated getting my Prius this Spring. As luck would have it I got a great deal on a leftover 2005 the beginning of this year - got the car early, kept the name.)

My posts have not been that great, but thanks! I don't post that much so it should not be too hard to double them. I know a few folks here on PChat that have taken off for awhile. I will see if I can get them to come back.....

Thank you everyone! I'm truly honored to be chosen for this award. The fact that I was chosen from such an elite group means the world to me. I'd just like to take a moment to thank my agent, lawyers, Jesus...

WOW! Evan I'm shocked! contributor for the year- sounds like big shoes to fill!
I am travelling now and rented a brand new taurus.(not my choice) It's quite different trying to get it to stop, and not very comfortable.
I've only had my Prius 2 months now but BOY do I miss it! Its a shock how quickly I've adjusted to the prius, even though I am still learning how to drive it. A little secret, I am a locomotive engineer so I am used to dynamic braking and having it in the car is a real plus!
    Thanks for the warm welcome!

My question is: does the {you} tag improve or degrade the level of communication on PC? Now every time anyone sees his/her own name in a post, he/she must click on Reply to see if he/she was really indicated, or if it was the {you} tag. It's a great way to make fun of newbies and other unsuspecting folks, but does it make PriusChat an easier place to have meaningful communication about the car we all love?

I suggest that after we've all had a good laugh, it be disabled. Yeah, I'm an old stick-in-the-mud. But communication is important to me, and I've always thought practical jokes are immature at best, and cruel at worst.

it'll wear off quickly enough. give it a couple days and the confusion will settle down and things will get back to normal. :)
