    All,

With the experience of everyone in these forums, I think we have an opportunity to outline a very comprehensive maintenance schedule for all current/future owners to have as a reference. It may be wise to follow the Toyota recommended schedule in a lot of cases, but we all know there are a few areas where this can probably be improved. For the purposes of this thread, let's assume we are given a brand new Gen II Prius. In order to maximize the longevity of this beautiful machine, what would your ideal maintenance schedule look like? Please be as detailed as you wish!!

Change transmission fluid every 60K miles/100km. Or sooner if in hot or mountainous areas. Toyota's recommended change interval is never.
