i bought my car because i felt (and still do) that it was the best use of my money for transportation in comfort, economy and style. i feel that women who are not attracted to men who drive Priuses, are not women who are interested in the environment, technology, good personal health for their children, or our dependence on foreign oil AND therefore i am not interested in them.
don't worry.. we are have something in common. It's a start. From my experiance.. you won't scare them away.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(V8Cobrakid\";p=\"59801)</div> LOL! Keep it up, and we might get our request.
LOL, V8 & Dave. I don't think either of you would scare away a female Prius driver. Although Dave's RC driving "skills" might scare em away....    *pokes Dave, then runs away laughing* I would not be interested in a guy that dissed my Prius and meant every word of it, hence only another Prius driver would get points while trying to pick me up. A non-Prius driver could succeed too, but he had better be nice to my Prius! Love me, love my car.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(DaveinOlyWA\";p=\"60091)</div> LOL. Maybe.... depends on what that "everything else" is.... but then again, I might be in a teasing mood and not let on.....
oh is that so?? you are just REAL REAL lucky my car (mini-mustang) was having sympathy pains last week and let you off the hook...
Oh is that it? You think you're 'Stang is that fast, eh? Yeah ok, I admit the car is good. However, the driver seems to have a few bugs to work out...problems...lack of propper diving technique...stuff like that. Small things, really.  *ducks and runs* I'm gonna whip your a$$ at the next race! Bwa-hahahahaha! Fear The Short One and her Car of DOOM!!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(DaveinOlyWA\";p=\"59874)</div> For my part, I'd prefer a woman who respects the environment and the people and animals in it. But if she's nice to me, I wouldn't care about much else. I'm too old to be picky.
well, 10 years ago, i would have said that attractiveness would override everything. but i no longer feel that way. it still goes a long way though...
Truthfully, I wouldn't mind a gal who dissed the Prius, as long as it was a well-reasoned argument. Dissing the Prius could, theoretically, be a major plus point for my opinion of someone. There are "cons" to the many Prius "pros", and if someone had a different value system that made the cons heavier, well, I can respect them for it. Of course, she'd have to be able to respect mine. At a minimum, a well-reasoned anti-Prius argument would demenstrate a level of intelligence and consideration of the issues. We could have a Carville/Matalin kind of thing, only with less public humiliation. Or more. Unfortunately, this will probably remain "theory", because most of politics I hear today, not just from the politicians, but also their supporters, are so one-sided it loses all credibility. (Not to mention the girlfriend, who is also currently only "theoretical". ) But that's a topic for another thread. Let the flirt-a-thon continue! Brad
so there are exceptions to every rule including my own. i have no hard fast rules when it comes to people. there is simply too many variables to consider.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(DaveinOlyWA\";p=\"60176)</div> Looks matter. But so does a lot of other stuff. Years ago I was head over heels in love with a woman who was not particularly attractive. It was something about her behavior, and her way of relating to people. I'd probably marry an airhead if she was attractive enough. But I'd prefer a woman of average looks if she was intelligent, considerate, and cheerful. Where are you????? There must be one nice girl out there, tired of waiting for a Prius, or unable to afford one, who'd marry me for the privilege of driving mine! ??????????????????????????
Haha, how did I see that one coming? *gives you a teasing poke in the shoulder* ;-) You should change your sig to (or add) "Love my Prius, love me"!
