Whether Zaino or wax... I suppose the wax would leave the scratch too once it was finally gone... but with normal reapplications of regular Zaino, should prevent that.

Since I had some time this weekend since it was a bye week so I gave my car another Zaino treatment. I hope that it will protect it through the winter with just some touch up. I noticed that the Z6 bottle indicated that you could use that by itself between treatments. I have never really done my own car before so I was wondering if the experts here would recommend that or would it be better to wash using the Zaino wash before using the Z6. I took a few pictures when I was finished even though I was in the shade and it was getting close to dusk; however, being technologically challenged I have not been able to figure out how to post them.

I just used Blackfire on my new Prius, and I'm really happy with it so far.

    I use Z6 for touch-ups, e.g., after a rain.

Thanks, I'll try that. Cool logo for the Long Island Prius club. I grew up as an Island girl.

I guess it depends on how dirty it is -- but I would feel better washing it first before using Z6.

Me too.. I don't want to scratch the surface with unnoticed funkyness on the paint.

I've been using Zaino stuff for 7 years and that hasn't happened from how I've used it.

Okay, it will never look as impressively shiny as a Zaino'd black or red car, but it FEELS great!

Yea, the deep colors help, but the way you can tell its working.... look at the reflections of the other cars on the street, you could almost recognize the face of someone getting out of one of those cars.

[attachmentid=5180][attachmentid=5181][attachmentid=5179]Here a few I took last weekend after finishing my car including one that my son took of his reflection in the driver's side door. It was getting late so the car was in the shade.

P.S. you need to trim the grass in the crack of the driveway in front of your garage. :D

    I'm sold!

Nice!... I think those hedges to the right could use a tad bit of trimming too! :p

Cute little guy - I was going to suggest a trade (kids, not cars) but he'll just end up a teenager one day too. ;)

Guess he's going to be busy this weekend - I'll add the hedges to his list.
