White screen of death (quick reply problem)?

I've been running into a problem since the redesign. I don't think it's been covered elsewhere (from what I can tell) but my apologies if I missed it somewhere.

The quick reply function seems to be behaving oddly. When I use the quick reply box and submit the post I get a blank white screen and the page gets stuck in a perpetual "loading" state. My post goes through and Firefox reports that the loading is "Done" but the page never returns to the thread. Hitting "Stop" and reloading doesn't seem to have any effect - I still end up with a blank white screen.

Has anyone else encountered this?

The full reply ("Go Advanced") works fine.

I'm on Firefox 2.0.0.12 (I really don't want to upgrade if I can possibly help it) on CentOS 4 Linux.

I've been having similar problems with Firefox on Ebay. Explorer works fine. Obviously, you can't use Explorer. Try another program (Safari?) and see if the same thing happens.

Funny, I'm actually having similar problems. I thought it was just a hiccup somewhere, but since it's been replicated by other user(s) then I'll take a deeper look into it.

Running Ubuntu 8.10 with Firefox 3.0.5. I also have the white screen, attempting to load, Firefox claims "done" when I hit Quick Reply

Oddly enough, the Quick Reply actually did work for me. I had to hit Back to get out of the white screen, compose this reply in Advanced
