      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I am contemplating retrofiting an older style Instrument Cluster into my 2017 V, to match my 2013 V.  My 2017 V is quite different, as it has the &quot;multi info display&quot;.   It might not be possible, but I have researched part numbers for the IC on the various Prius Vs.<br />

The used clusters themselves are surprisingly cheap ~$60.  I find this surprising, because I want the &quot;voice command&quot; switch off of the steering wheel, and I am finding that part much more expensive.<br />

I am getting an antenna fault for the smart key and even with a fresh battery the fob has difficulty detecting the key. That being said, I am trying to locate the antenna, I have seen what it looks like online, but havent the foggiest where it would be, as I am not trying to gut an interior to find this and the associated wiring.]]></content:encoded>

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I currently have a 2012 Prius V gen 3, and when I was replacing the inverter water pump, the grey clip on the engine wiring harness that plugs into the passenger side of the inverter snapped. Now, that tiny piece of plastic is causing my Prius to be inoperable, and would cost me thousands to fix in a shop.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I wanted to share some pictures and information from my install of a head unit on a non-JBL Prius V.  I still used a harness kit intended for JBL installation to use the harness and to derive 6V power for the stock rear view camera to retain the factory camera installation.<br />

About a year ago, I was plugging in a USB drive to listen to the audio files on it when abruptly the USB audio function and Bluetooth audio function ceased to work. Although I can connect my telephone (iPhone SE 2020) to the system and make/receive calls, I cannot play any music whatsoever though Bluetooth or USB. My wife&#039;s 2012 Prius v3&#039;s Bluetooth and USB stopped working on Sept. 1. It was working okay before that and suddenly stopped. My wife suspects b/c it&#039;s almost 10 years and Toyota wants us to upgrade to a new one..haha..<br />

While the thought of changing it to an aftermarket head unit crossed my mind, I didn&#039;t want to lose the vehicle settings functionality. After watching youtube videos of the later facelift model head unit in action, I liked how the display graphics were more crisp, it had split screen capability, the touch screen was much more responsive and everything just loads quicker. I got a 2013 Prius v station wagon late last year, and this issue&#039;s popped up somewhat recently. I get into my car, start it up, give it a bit of time to load, then turn on the audio to connect my android phone and, nothing. I go to the audio screen, press source, nothing happens. I have no bluetooth, radio, nav, apps, or backup camera after the initial Toyota logo startup. If I hold the CAR or SETUP buttons, the display does sometimes change, but only for 2-3 seconds before going black again. Same with the backup camera, although it mostly doesn&#039;t work at all. If I hold APPS, I get a &quot;system not installed&quot; message. The receiver ID is 57011.<br />

The HU suddenly lost the settings and did an automatic update, then the issue happened. It rebooted randomly when driving and lost settings after parking for a few hours or a night, then it will stuck in black screen with booting loop.
