Just bought a 2020 Prius Prime Limited. The "touch" door locks mechanism worked fine for a few days, but now I'm getting a warning sound even though the all doors and windows are closed and the key fob has not been left in the car, and the doors aren't locking. I can, however, still lock the doors with the key fob. Any suggestions?

Have you tried this? Although the fact you are getting a warning buzzer indicates the car is receiving the signal. Does the problem exist on both sides of the front doors, since you have 3 doors SKS?

Off the top of my head:

Make sure your second key fob is not n the car. My wife sometimes leaves her purse behind, with a fob inside (aaaargh!), but can be overridden by pressing "lock" on my fob outside the car. Also, if any doors or the hatch are not fully closed, or the car is not in the "off" condition (ie: is in accessory mode) the "touch lock" won't work.

None of those conditions were present. Today, it started working again correctly even though I didn't do anything different from the days before.

Sounds like some type of computer bug. If the problem persists then a visit to a dealer may be required. But before doing that make sure you can demonstrate the problem at the dealer. They likely will not do anything unless they see the problem with their own eyes.

Almost everyone will, at some point, forget to turn off their Prius when they get out of it. ;) I've done it a few times and I'm a bit of a perfectionist. First thing to do if you get that beep is to make sure it's off. I would just keep driving it and see if it happens again.
