Please can someone tell me how to resolve this issues.
Yesterday my 2012 prius stopped me on the road. Many error light came on. Check engine, check hybrid system and yellow triangle light came on. After like 2 minutes I started it and the car started still with all those error lights.
It did not give any issue again until today again it stopped me. I tried starting it immediately, it started but refused to drive neither forward nor backward. I tried starting it on maintenance mode and it drove for 1 minutes. I cleared of road. Switched it off and tried starting it again . It started the engine and refused driving. I tried maintenance mode again. This time it refused driving. After 30 minutes I tried again and the car started normally. I drove it home. Tried starting it again. The engine starts but refused to drive. 142,000 miles on it.
I have scanned it with my techstream, it gives P0A40 and P0A41.
    1. P0A40 TOYOTA - Drive Motor 'A' Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance

    2. P0A41 - Drive Motor 'A' Position Sensor Circuit Low

PLEASE house how do I resolve this issue.

There is a component called a "resolver" that is built into the drive motor, and provides its position at all times. From that, a computer in the car is able to compute the correct magnetic fields to create for moving the motor. If the resolver is not providing the needed signal (perhaps meaning the wiring or connections to the resolver have damage or corrosion; the resolver itself is unlikely to fail), the car is unable to make the motor move.

One PriusChat member, Elektroingenieur, made this wiki page that describes the options for gaining access to the Toyota repair manual and wiring diagrams so that you can troubleshoot the resolver circuit. I am not sure how it works in Nigeria.

It is possible that someone will be able to post that section of the manual.

You need to check that circuit and the connectors
