It seems doing its job but still not up to date. Streets/subdivisions built in the last 2 years or so aren't showing up.

Is there a way to update the navigation database?

Or better, is there a way to use the Google Maps via my phone?

    Thanks

dealer can update, or sometimes you can find bootleg on ebay.

Well, dealer will charge a minimum of one labor hour for it I imagine. It won't be worth.
I would be willing to pay a bit but not in $150-$200 range.

Amazon has SD cards that work, I now have a 2024 map database in mine.

Assuming the 11 inch display uses the same microsd as the 7 inch anyway.

My cheap asset uses Waze through my phone. Simply reset/change your default navigator so your screen mirror's your phone.
Not sure if that's going to work, since 2017 was the bridge years for Toyota phone interfaces. I know that will work on 2020 and beyond Toyota panels; just not sure if your panel has the capable hardware and software to do this.
