Hey! I know it's been asked before but there are a million opinions. My 12v battery just died in my 2008 Prius. Do you have any recommendations for a battery or at a minimum can direct me to a specific battery that would work?
Does Walmarts brand Everstart work and are they reliable?

I appreciate reading your posts in expectation of inspection and cleaning of the EGR and intact tract. Just to make sure, you are of the opinion that one can remove the two horizontal studs and not replace them after the job is done? Or just the rear one that is so difficult to get at? Thanks.

Mendel you can probably identify this issue! I have a 2011 Prius and on January 20th of this year, this loud hum noise started http://link.www.ridesharedriver.blog/Prius_hum_noise. That is from a mic on the "Shotgun seat" While I am driving on Interstate 275 in Tampa, FL. The noise is very loud in the car. When I get over to the left or make a left turn the noise goes away. What do you think?

What voltage should my 12v be in? I was checking for codes with OBD the other day and my app said my 12v had 11.8v while it was on the on position checking for codes (pressed on twice) not running/started. Let me know if that's too low.

Can you tell me where the AC amplifier is on a 2020 Prius Prime?

BC is da best. Spent time in Squamish this winter. Best compliment I got was that I was the most Canadian American the people in the car had met. I blushed, I love that country. Originally from VT. Daughter in on V Island for a while this summer.

Hi Mendel , sorry to bother you but, I am changing the sway link bars on my car. Part number Toyota 4882047030. Are they in pairs or is it the same part for both left and right ? Or are there different parts for left and right? Thanks for your help.

Mendel, news blurbs are stating that the fires from Canada are burning from the west to the east with the east side of Canada affecting the Eastern side of the U.S. Are there fires in the northern regions of where you live? Just trying to comb thru the fiction and facts.

Hi Mendel, I appreciate your comments on my coolant mystery leak awhile back.
My next big task with my car will be to fix the AC system, there's a leak somewhere.
