Is it possible to mod a Lexus 400h into plug-in hybrid?

    hey guy, this seems like a very old thread but i also have a RX400H '07 and was looking in to getting a larger battery pack or doing a phev mod has any had any success with this ?

    This is an interesting thread. I purchased the EV switch from Sigma and have a question about wiring it in my RX400h. Is the location of the HV ECM the same as in the Prius? Pin #27? If so, I'm assuming that the install would be similar to the Calcar link.

    I must add "me too". The sad thing with this Lexus is that I don't think it has the oog mode like the prius...

    It would be cool and straight up a novelty to have my RXh become a plugin; I wonder if I could certify it as a lev and get hov stickers on that.

    People on "club lexus" have tried this and sorry to say it didn't work.
