Hi!2017 Prius I do have a coolant leak,dealer says is from my Exhaust Heat Recirculation System.The problem is that part is quite expensive and if I do it I just want to be sure is from there. How can I test it? I was thinking to bypass the exhaust gas heat exchanger linking those 2 water hoses with a metal pipe . I want to try this only to see if I still have the leak. What do you think about this idea?

It's 10 years old and need service advice: Brake fluid exchange, Coolant exchange inverter, Coolant exchange engine, Trans axle fluid exchange, HV fan cleaning. Thanks.

Hi Mendel - got the Noco Gen1 Mini, but the dang thing comes with eyelets. My ground bolt is nicely rusted on and the front jump point isn't budging. Alligator clips would've been ideal here. Any ideas?

I am interested in buying a wheel that is 15x6j 38offset. Would this work on the 3rd gen prius which are 15x6.5j 45 offset.

I'm reaching out to you re: the oil consumption thread in which I posted yesterday. In past threads, you've provided links that show the old and new part numbers for the rings and pistons in the Gen-3 Prius -- indicating that there was a change to correct the problem at some point (2015?).

Mendel, I need your opinion on braking system.
On my Prius V 2012 rear guiding pins are seized in caliper bracket. Is it better to remove the bracket and replace the pins only or just replaced the pins and bracket as a unit?
I can not seem to move/rotate the pin, even with a hammer.
