2016 CD Player

    Hi all,

    2016 Prius v4 without JBL audio system.

    When playing a CD in the in-dash CD player I do not find a fast forward button.

    Is there an option button to speed through/ fast forward a portion of a song?

    Try pressing and holding the "up arrow - seek" and "track - down arrow" buttons to the right of big head unit screen.

    Nothing in the online 2016 Prius v owner's manual.

    Search on CD fast forward found this in the Gen II forum, but the above suggestion came from a 2009 gen III owner (last post); Fast forward, rewind | PriusChat

    OP here.......Yes.

    Hold the Seek Button to fast forward a CD.
    Hold the Track Button to rewind a CD.

    The trick is pressing/ holding the button steadily; it will work.

    Thank you...a non-documented "trick" is found!

    UPDATE: This is documented in the NAVAGATION SYSTEM OWNER'S MANUAL
    (Page 110 of the year 2016 manual.)
