    Hello everyone.
I'm going to buy from eBay the cruise control kit to add it to my steering wheel.

But before i purchase it, how can i know that my car has actually the ability of cruise control?
I have the very base/standard version of Prius . -1089569103-1965023118.jpg

I don’t have any personal experience with the second-generation Prius, but here are two past PriusChat threads about installing cruise control:
The consensus seems to be that the required capability is always present in the car’s computers, but you may need other parts, such as a brake switch, in addition to the switch assembly for the steering wheel.

In addition to any instructions that come with the kit you buy, you may find it helpful to refer to Toyota’s Repair Manual and Electrical Wiring Diagram for your car, available by subscription to toyota-tech.eu.
