I have been having serious issues with the website.
I sign in and everything is super slow to respond, I log out and everything is responsive.

I also can not message other users on here.

I have never been told I was banned or for how long nor did I violate any TOS.
I would like someone either a moderator or admin to fix my account so that I can continue to learn from this website and help others learn.

    Thank you

The message (here it is called Conversation) function has been out of order for some times now. It is not just you. It has been brough to the attention of moderator @Tideland Prius, but it need to be taken care of at higher end @Danny.

PM or Conversation not working at this time | PriusChat

As for the slow response, have you tried clearing the cache on the phone? I am not exactly sure how to do it on your phone, but if Android, then follow this instruction. How (and when) to clear app cache or data on Android | Android Central
If that does not help, you may also try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. Most of slow response problem is related to the app setting or phone memory issue. I am not having problem using the PriusChat phone app on my Pixel phone, so it is not a global problem like the PM issue. Try using a web browser on the lap top or even on you phone to log on PC site. If that works, then it is definitely your phone and app causing the problem.

Yes I know my way around android very well, so well I tested phones for AndroidCentral.com

I also tried the browser on my laptop and the same happens, so it is my account being slowed down to a crawl when I sign in.

I wonder what would happen if I created a new account?

Strange. Yeah, try with a new account unless @Tideland Prius has some other suggestions.

    This is REALLY NOT GOOD.

The site was totally down for most of one day recently with no explanation when it came back.

What you describe is much like what was happening to me a couple of years ago.
I think I am on my 3rd or 4th account; each one worked for a few days or weeks before being damaged.
No explanation was ever given for what finally fixed it.

    Paranoid?

No just annoyed that the site is not working as it should.

Hopefully they will figure it out and fix the issue.

No ads targeting me, I run my stuff tight.

There was a site update last weekend or two weekends ago, I forget.

Well it is run by one person as opposed to a corporation, so yes. PC is a small business lol.

    But is it REALLY ?
I got the impression that the last nasty, prolonged crash got fixed ONLY because Danny turned the software maintenance over to someone else. Is that not true ?
Is he really still a "hands on" owner ??

Should not matter if it is one to ten people, it is simple to fix these issues.

Guess no moderators here have any pull, by the way how do you even tell who is a moderator?

Not under all circumstances it isn't.

    In this case, it appears:
That the OWNER possesses almost no computer software expertise.
And he either won't spend the money or really doesn't care about getting something fixed.

BUT, it looks like the problem has disappeared for the time being.
    You should consider yourself lucky.
The last time the user database got corrupted, it took almost a year before it was finally cleaned up.

yeah, when we started hiring people for our businesses, that meant the income was shared by several instead of one family. - let's just be glad hybrids aren't falling in popularity, nor competing with even more manufacturers. The blog necessarily turns on popularity with the product. Just think how EEUUGE PC would become if there were a Prime EV !!
If only had Danny had some pull with the top Echelon at Toyota. For now, only China has that kind of clout.
