    Local Hybrid battery replacement shop, no dealer.

    Ace Hybrid Tech in Westminster, Ca; They gave me a 100k/7 yr warranty

    they're website only shows 48 month warranty fo $1,500. did you get a special deal?

    It's not clear: maybe his price is installed, with the 3 year warranty? That still kinda high though: there's another current thread the dealership's quoting $3400 (installed with 3 yr warranty), and maybe even that's soft.

    That wasn't a Toyota used battery was it? (they had a pilot project out in California)
    That was a new one, right?
