i wouldn't buy a used car right now if you paid me. maybe carafe can be of help, with owners, locations and etc., also, plugging the vin into the toyota owners website.

 

Stay away from any individuals or private dealers in the southern states. Running a Carfax should tell you where the vehicle was most recently registered.

If you can pull up the floor upholstery, carpets, sills, look for connectors to the right of the accelerator and check for any brownish discolored type of mud or rust in those areas. For if owner is okay with this, lift up the sills, also check wires, connectors, or dirt that maybe trapped between the gap of the cable looming.
