Energy Monitor Arrows do not display

    I just found the temp connector DISCONNECTED after having the same issue. It was just a wire hanging down in back of the battery which is quite small I might add. Reconnected it and will take it for a test ride shortly. Also going to jump all over the Service Manager at Toyota if this is the issue. Someone posted a pdf with the blowup of the battery area and it shows this connector a little item on top of the hold down bar.

    Update... a year later!

    Based on the information provided above I found the sensor on the battery mount bracket.
    No wire found hanging around. I removed the interior side panel and found the wire wrapped above the fender well.
    Apparently, the body shop that repaired the rear end damage didn't know what to do with it and tucked it away.

    I was able to route the wire back into place and plug the sensor in.
    Display FIXED!

    Did you check if you reconnected the little black thing called temperature sensor (Toyota called thermistor) that is attached to the battery holding bar. There should be the thermistor connecting to the wire running toward the back wall of the car

    I have the same issue in my 2010 issue just bought, no wheels lit up on energy monitor screen? What was the $7 fix?
