Grille shutter inoperative. Visit your dealer

    That is a 2016 Gen 4. It looks the same as my 2017 Gen 4.
    There is a Split Screen setting, IIRC. You can then choose what shows beside the speedometer. I have the instantaneous MPG along with the trip marker in that position. I notice the manual says there are 3 choices but it then shows 4 options.

    I remember switching to split a week or two after buying the car- but I switched it right back.
    I knew it would take a while to digest the simple stuff - and it has....

    tanks I'll be switching as soon as I get in it tonight.

    I wonder if the grill shutters only close if it's cold and the ICE is running, to try to help it stay hot. If the car is running in EV is there an advantage to blocking the airflow?

    Actually a dealer in Alaska did that. It was later suspected that cord was the cause of an overnight garage fire.
