The 2008–2015 Toyota Universal Flat Rate Manual (FM24H0U, available by subscription to techinfo.toyota.com) allows 4.5 labor hours for operation 870251, Heater Radiator Unit Subassembly, Remove & Replace, on NHW20 series vehicles. The part itself (part number 87107-47060, shown in catalog Figure 87-14, Heating & Air Conditioning - Cooler Unit) has a list price of $458.37, but there are less-costly aftermarket substitutes. Since the A/C system is discharged and recharged, there may also be additional costs for refrigerant, oil, and O rings.

In a thread from 2013, an estimate of $1200 was mentioned; this was for a dealer using the Toyota part.
