Was able to get some mpg stats in the last couple days.
Afternoon run yesterday for 10km, mostly in EV mode 3.3l/100km(71mpg) I think it took 1.8Kwatt to recharge
Today mostly EV run 75% highway at 90KM/h (55mph) 3.9l/100km(60mpg) for first 50km(31miles)
total run today blended result 4.4l/100km(53.5mpg) for 121km(75 miles) run
My regular commute is 4km each way, so I hope to get great mpg, when its warmer, today we had frost on the windows.

Not sure how far off the new pack this is, but initially I am impressed.
I will need to log more miles to get a better picture.

the hymotion sure helps with fuel economy.
But I am getting worried about it and have removed the orange High voltage plug.
When I turn the car on and when I turn it off, I get a load noise from inside the box.
I suspected intially it was a relay.
It has been louder and yesterday, it clicked and kindof made a hissing noise.
Guess I will need to remove it and open it up to see if maybe the relay contacts are shot and I am getting arking or something.
It seems to make a louder noise if the pack is fully charged too.
The fan has a bit of a noise too, so will probably replace the fan while I am in there too.
I hope its just a relay.

read Eric s notes on the previous page. He's probably the only Pro that even remembers Hymotion much less willing to talk with anyone about it.

So, OG means original gangster/s; 90's/2000s pop slang for original people/founders/groundbreaking inventors, etc
Yes - I have several videos documenting the removal and reinstallation that Duane helped me with back in 2017.
At that time, Sybesmas Electronics in Holland Michigan was still refurbishing Hymotion L5 packs for aprx $2000. Since then they have sold the shop to a company that did not continue the Hymotion service....so it appears users will face increased challenges to keep thier going. ...Maybe Jack from Nexpower can repower them with his cells?!
And no, I hadnt been to Hymotion.com, recently, but I did just now, and yeah: its a whole 'nother thing, unsurprisingly!
