    Hey everyone,

I’m back on priuschat. Long story short my Gen 2 Touring got totaled in December after 8 solid years and I’m planning to purchase a 2010 Gen 3 Prius II from a private seller. I was wondering if anyone could provide me with a chart of the trim packages for the 2010 specifically. Now that it’s 2018 Toyota.com has replaced that link with the newer models. If anyone has a screenshot, old brochure, etc that’d be great. I’m trying to re-acquaint myself with the features of 3rd gen, specifically what I’ll be missing or gaining in a 2010 II versus my old 2009 V. Many thanks.

    -M

You'll be missing the following in the 2010

    1. Backup camera
    2. Sks on all doors (only drivers door)

And some mechanical stuff like, no more water pump belt or thermos for coolant.

Oh yeah, backup camera. You know what’s really funny, at the time of my accident my LCD screen wasn’t even working. That said I’ve been used to not having a large MFD for quite some time. ;)

Great thread, this is the one I was looking for!

The EV/eco/Power is something I’m looking forward to and had always wished gen 2 had. Can’t wait to go fast with Power! Lol.

    welcome back!
sorry to hear about your accident.
do your due diligence on 2010 purchase, many threads and complaints here. especially troubling are oil burning and head gasket issues around 100,000 miles.
