I'm just curious if it's possible to install a backup camera in a 2014 Prius 2 Im looking to buy, and if so how much would it cost for a mechanic to install it? or is it easy enough for me to install myself?

Yes, you can! I had one installed in my 2013 two, and it works perfectly with the existing screen.

I bought this kit from amazon (currently $100) and had it installed by Best Buy (I think the installation was $129 here in the Atlanta, GA area).
