Misfire and shaking but only when i turn

    Now I have clean the EGR cooler too. EGR test value is 20,17kPa now.
    The EGR cooler was exhaust pipe side about 80% blocked. And I saw like welding sparks there.
    I have driving today about 50km and I not feeling any shaking and TS no show any misfires.

    And this was at 98K miles, as you noted in this other posting today:

    That's a very good picture, illustrates the need for periodic, complete cleaning of the EGR system. If it looks like that at 98K miles, perhaps cleaning every 50K miles is warranted. It'd be nice if Toyota would chime in on this:

    @Mendel Leisk , I agree with you.

    I think when I saw it, Is it possible the EGR gas is too hot and then burn temperature go too hot. TS shows exhaust temperature before the CAT over 700 celcius degrees (1292 fahrenheit degrees). I saw inside the EGR cooler like a welding sparks.

    Yeah not sure how that forms. Would guess just a form of carbon. It's a hopelessly clogged mess though.
