When a manufacturer talks about lifetime, I assume 150k miles.

Couldn't hurt to tighten up the wheel lugs, just in case.
I can't think of anything beyond alignment and wheel balance

That could be on one of the various stickers placed on the car. I think the Sable's is on the one with vehicle weights and tire pressures.

Time to feel every tire, especially the inner tread. I like to park the car and turn the front wheels so I have easy access to at least half of each tire. Then use finger tips and run at least 1/4 arc of the tire. Then take a photo and the car to the service center.

I heard once that cars made on a Weds. are the most problem free cars. But then a lot are made by robots now so I don't think they care what day it is.

    ***Update 1-30-17***

Well, got the trim and the handles fixed today. Meet the service manager today, he is a pretty good guy and I enjoyed talking to him. I did bring up the problems with the vibration thats getting worse, he said they did balance and check out the tires on this really expensive machine. so if the tires are good, then im worried its mechanical like maybe wheel bearings or something... but they want me to wait 5k and check it back out then.. I dont know how I feel about that though, not really happy with that.. I am thinking maybe try a different dealer and see what they find out. I just want it to drive right.

I think this has been the most stressful car buying experience I have ever had. I am starting to wish I had my car I traded in back, but it already sold :(

Yeah rebalancing your tires is a lot of effort, a quick test drive is easy. o_O

The vibration is serious and could be a safety issue. I would demand that it be taken care of now. Even threatening a law suit if it is not addressed.

Maybe mention to that service manager you're going to try another dealership. Not in a "screw you" way, just that you're concerned, don't want to put it off to 5K miles. That might bring him around.

The dealer you bought it from has the responsibility to get it right.

    We approach car ownership differently:
For me, this would be a technical challenge and excuse to get more engineering toys tools. I would approach the problem by trying to document the problem even to the point of diagnosis of the problem. But I find mechanical things fun to deal with and perfectly working ones ... boring.

Is the vibration independent of power? - I would find a tall hill with little or no traffic. At the top of hill, with the engine off, I would put the car in "N" and record audio and/or make notes about the sound. Does it change pitch with vehicle speed? Does it change amplitude with speed? Does it change with left and right swerves or curves?

Would you consider getting a microphone with long cable to mount on various places around the car to identify the specific source? Using "blue" masking tape, secure the wire leading to a recording device. There are more sophisticated kits with multiple microphones to do A-B-A testing:

Here is one: STEELMAN 97202 Wireless ChassisEAR Diagnostic Device Kit, Noise Finder Tool

    More affordable:

OP, politely insist that a mechanic take a drive with you and that the person document their impression/findings. If there is a suspension problem, it makes no sense to ignore it for 5k miles.

By the way, was the gap fixed ?
