Is it a vibration you can feel, or just hear? The one bad wheel bearing I had was just a noise.

They took the wheels of and checked the balance, but didn't look at alignment?

For grins, if you have roadway tunnel or long overpass, you might drive through it with the windows rolled down and see if the noise is specific to one side or the other.

Unfortunately I don't have both close by. I do wonder what side is louder

Sounds like you should skip the dealer and take your car to Bob.

Dude! You got the rumblin' car. I'll have to make a house call. <GRINS>

So tell me about that great weather you're having'. Can I bring my wife and her two dogs?

So how far away from the Air Force museum?

Doesn't it depend on whether they are good or bad?

Well, quick update. I took the Prime to another dealer yesterday. They been pretty awesome and trying to go out of their way to make me happy and to make things right with the car. They found the body plugs were missing and should have been installed by the previous dealer. However they said they found no vibration, but offered to do a ride along with a tech and took up that offer. however, the vibration and noise was gone o_O drove it later that night on a 45 mile round trip and no prob as well as today, no vibration or noise.

    Well, good.

Maybe it is just your roads thawing out. Here in Colorado the difference is huge

By body plugs they probably mean these oblong holes on underside, possibly used during initial shipping by holding pins, keep the car from shifting. Dealership is supposed to push in caps during PDI.

Speculation but it sounds like the missing plugs might have made the bottom of the car into a low frequency whistle. Like when windows are partially rolled down on one side and the cabin 'throbs.'

We were missing a plug on one side (PDI done a Friday afternoon ?), didn't make any sound, it's just a bitty hole.
