Yeah. I just do a COPY command to put the text of my post into memory. If the site disappears, I can then save it to notepad. Or using the Back button usually restores the edit window with the post and then I can save it.

I have resorted to this at times. Most of the time PC works just fine, so I get lulled into a false sense of security. If it is a big post, I always save it first, but for quick replies I usually don't bother.

On this note, the performance of the new software has generally been way better than the old one.

However, recently, I've been sometimes seeing pages get stuck loading due to my browser (Firefox in 32-bit Win 7) getting stuck loading content from tag.contextweb.com. Anyone else seeing this? It's very intermittent.

i've been having the same problem last 3-5 days. also, another issue i have on a regular basis is click in the reply box and not being able to get a cursor. if i click more options, i can reply there.

It's still happening today. Danny? Are you able to do anything (reasonable) about it?

The last couple/three days it's been very slow for me. The home page will sometimes "load", but the row of links across the top are missing. And when editting a contribution to a thread, the pop-up editor can be reluctant, or impossible to use. I pretty give up on it right away and go to the advanced editor. This is both on my work and home computers, both IE, older version at work.

Same here. Will not load top bar and refreshing does not help.

Sept 27, lunchtime: clicked on my PriusChat homepage bookmark, it took well over 2 minutes to load the page. It's spotty: sometimes ok, sometimes the site might as well be down.

That sucks that you guys are paying for access to this site and it's still slow. I personally can't complain because I don't spend a dime to come here.

No true, I think Priuschat got paid by tag.contextweb to place ads on the web pages.
I would like Priuschat to have the link to tag.contextweb disabled until they fix the server or software issue.

Pulling up pages on Prius Chat has been slow even to the point of having to refresh pages. I'm also wondering that I've had to closedown my explorer with other tabs due to the sluggishness of the Prius Chat pages failing to come up.

...the new software has been essentially unusable for me as far as posting, using XP/IE8, need to use Firefox.
If I go to backspace to make a post edit on IE8, system hangs, have to exit IE and sometimes have to reboot.
So I am on FireFox (now) if making Posts. I muddle thru with IE8 but I should really stop using it for PriusChat.
But although I should modernize, PriusChat is the only site giving me the problems.

Yeah, the one thing that still gives me trouble is the pop-up for editing postings. You can click somewhere in the text, bu no cursor appears, hard to tell what's happening, and often it's not happening. When this happens I'll just go to the advanced editor.
