I'm using a pair like that (different brand name) as reverse lights. They work MUCH better than the original 7443 bulbs.

Where did you get yours? I was looking at a few on Amazon and EBay.

I actually ended up getting HID's from XenonSupply. There were a few bad reviews but mainly good reviews.

On a related note, have you bought other led lights exterior and interior from anyone you'd recommend? I can start another thread but I'd rather not clutter the forum too much if possible.

    Thanks.

You'll probably like the XenonSupply HIDs. I installed those on my C a few years back and I was very satisfied.
This is my post from way back when: My Prius C HID and LED installation adventure thread!! (lots of Pics!) | Page 4 | PriusChat

If you want BRIGHT interior LEDs, go with the iJDMToys kit. For exterior (turn signal 7443 type) I went with the DiodeDynamics XP80 LEDs. They're as bright as the incandescant 7443s. (Don't forget to get an LED flasher module.)

Thanks for the info, I looked into iJDM but the 90 day warranty really made me weary about their product. Who only gives a 90 day warranty?? I remember Exled was the best a few years ago but also the priciest.

There were a few dud elements in one of my iJDMToy units after about a year. But they are SO bright it was hardly noticeable. If you just want LEDs that are less yellow than the OEM incandescents, then one of the cheaper kits should be fine. (y)
