I'm getting a rattle in the hatch area -- making a sound as if the hatch is moving independent of the body.

Sound like the hatch is loose -- but it's not. If I grab hold of the wing and try and move the hatch ---- it's tight and I get no sound.

    Any ideas?

Mine just started rattling a week ago. SO ANNOYING! I think it is the bumper not doing its job. Here's some possible fixes I found earlier today:

DO check that the hatch floor is locked down, and check the storage tray. Any loose items in there will sound like a loose hatch.

I had the same problem and what I did was I took off a small rubber piece inside the lock with a flathead screwdriver and I put it back so that it got stuck really well. It took me a few minutes and stopped the noise for a week or two. Not a long-term solution but a quick fix if the noise gets too annoying
