    Hi all,

Just thought I'd share. Ordered Tein High.Tech's (Part No: SKQ32-G1B00 Model: NCP131) from Garm last Tuesday received on Saturday:

    TEIN H-tech springs

    IMG_0162.JPG

Measurements (from wheel hub center to fender arch):
    Before:
    F: 24 1/4" R: 24"
    After:
    F: 23" R: 23"

    Install notes:
Took about 2 hrs with two people working with air tools.
Most time consuming part was the removal of wipers and front metal cowl (about 12 bolts).
If not jacking the car from the front central jack point there will me some wrestling involved with lining up the sway bar link to strut.
We trimmed the front bump stop about 30mm or 1" off the bottom right where white plastic starts as mentioned in the included install manual.
Did not cut the rear bump stop.

    Drive notes:
Rides like stock, hardly noticed it's lowered except on extremely rough pavement. I think upgraded struts/shocks would help a bit in the future when they start to wear.

Overall good bang for the buck/comfortable/non-noisy/daily drivable lowering springs.

One word...Classy. That is the perfect stance and actually looks fantastic on the stock alloys. Love the look!

Where is the "front central jack point"?. I've looked for this but couldn't find it. Do you have to take off the plastic undercover?

Looks pretty nice, I was looking to go with the Tanabe DF210 springs... but still deciding if I want to end up with Coilovers....

P.S. I don't see a Regional section for NorCal/SF Bay Area... anyone point me towards meets/get togethers? Also spotted a PC earlier but there's no section for that either. Wondering if it is a member here, MGM PC on white wheels

Yep-yep, that be me; from the direction I was giong that was on the way home :p . I'm on Tein H Tech's and 16's. I decided not to go with coilovers this time around because I have a tendency to keep ajusting them until the car is slammed, and the other half was like, nope, not going to deal with another slammed car and the hastle of getting in and out of it, lol.

The DF210's are going to get you lower and if you go with the coilovers you'll have adjustability...all depends on what you want to spend and the type of roads you have to navigate. I'll eventually upgrade my stock shocks/struts, but for now they work just fine for the type of driving I do; but I will say the Bay Area rodes give them a nice workout...thanks to our broke a@@ state and Cal Trans, hahaha!

Yeah, no regional stuff that I've seen on here, but doesn't mean you can't post something up for a meet to see if there's any interest. (y) I keep seeing the habinaro C's around here, but still trying to determine if it's the same one, or if there really are that many, hahaha.
